Rebecca Hutten
Bio :
Rebecca Hutten is an independent researcher and Associate Lecturer, in Psychology and Social Sciences, at The Open University. She trained as a social anthropologist and worked as a policy analyst in Central Government before joining the University of Sheffield as Research Fellow in applied psychological therapies to work on the first national evaluation of IAPT primary care mental health services. She completed her PhD on the training, culture and practices of NHS ‘talking therapists’ in 2018, alongside training in individual and group psychodynamic therapy. She is currently co-editing a volume of ethnographic work on the ‘anthropology of psychology’ and mental healthcare.
