Ellen Ramvi

I am a professor at the Department of Caring and Ethics at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Stavanger, Norway, and leads the research group “Professional Relations in Welfare Professions”. Through a psycho-social perspective, I have a special interest in the emotional, existential, relational, and ethical aspects of relationship-based work. Current research interests relate to care ethics in an increasingly technological health and welfare sector, the professionals' encounter with death as well as developing the Visual Matrix Methodology as a psycho-social approach to investigating aspects of experience that may be difficult to articulate discursively.
