Ann-Cathrin Jöst

My name is Ann-Cathrin and I have studied between Business & Public Health as well as innovation. By training I am an English teacher and I have a lectureship in Sustainable Business Model Strategy at Darmstadt Business School, where I have developed concepts of psychosocial Business Modelling. I am in psychoanalysis since 2020, through which I am developing an interest in psychoanalytical peadagogy in higher education as well as Foreign Language Teaching, to allow for feelings and the self in education. I already teach with feelings in higher education since early 2022, which students tend to find first confusing, then they like it, and sometimes lesser so; and I feel they tend to become more creative, innovative and intelligent, sometimes happy. I am interested to connect to other teachers, who make use of psychoanalytical concepts in the classroom as maybe as well in Business Consulting. Likely, I want to become a psychoanaltytical therapist myself, for right now my main interest is in peadagogy, sustainability and the aspects of mental health in these fields.
